Attachments

Overview

The Attachments tab is the site file library. Use it to store and share reference documents, drawings, specifications, and any other files the team needs during or after site work. Files uploaded here are available to all users with access to the site.

Viewing Attachments

Use the toggle in the top-right corner to switch between two layouts:

  • List view — Files displayed in a table with name, size, and action controls. Best for scanning a long file list.
  • Grid view — Files displayed as visual cards with previews. Best for image or PDF files.

Your view preference is saved automatically and persists between sessions.


Uploading Files

Upload a Single File

  1. Click Add Attachment in the top-right corner.
  2. Enter a file name for the attachment.
  3. Select your file using the file picker.
  4. Click Upload to confirm.

The file appears in the attachment list immediately.

Upload Multiple Files at Once

  1. Click the Upload Multiple option.
  2. Select one or more files from your device.
  3. A progress bar tracks each file individually during upload.
  4. All successfully uploaded files are added to the attachment list.

Managing Attachments

Rename a File

  1. Find the file in the list or grid.
  2. Open its row actions menu (three-dot icon).
  3. Select Rename, enter the new name, and confirm.

Delete a File

  1. Find the file in the list or grid.
  2. Open its row actions menu (three-dot icon).
  3. Select Delete and confirm.

Deleted files cannot be recovered.


Best Practice

Keep Attachments current. When files are updated — for example, a revised floor plan or a final spec sheet — upload the new version and remove or clearly rename the old one. Teams rely on this tab as a shared source of truth for Site reference files.
